This simple 5-ingredient smoothie will healthfully satisfy your sweet tooth during these hot summer days. Packed with wholesome protein, carbohydrates and fat , it’s a great recovery drink for a post-workout snack.


This treat was much needed after my ~9 mile trail run this morning. Got a little lost, tripped on a tree root and fell, and saw a large dead animal. Other than that, it was a great run!



PB and Strawberry Smoothie

Serves 1-2

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1/4 cup greek yogurt (plain is best for the elimination of added sugar)

3/4 cup soy milk

2 TBS peanut butter

1 TBS cinnamon

-Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
